Anshu Meena
full-stack & systems engineer
hey, i’m Anshu. i’ve spent seven years building software that has to survive production. web apps, mobile apps, and the Linux machines quietly running underneath them.
right now i’m at PantryClub, where we built an entire e-commerce operations system from scratch. purchase orders, inventory, warehousing, shipping, none of it outsourced. i also wrote the Raspberry Pi printing distro it all runs on, in Zig and C. zero crashes so far.
off the clock i maintain open-source tools, read history and philosophy, and pull apart large codebases — the kernel, Chromium — to see how they hold together.
currently
- building
- ops systems, IoT and internal tooling at PantryClub
- reading
- Letters from a Stoic, and far too many kernel mailing lists
- tinkering
- Zig, systems programming, and desktop Linux polish
where i’ve worked
Built the company's operational backbone end to end, plus a Zig/C printing distribution for Raspberry Pi that has run in production without a single crash.
Real-time video chat interfaces in SolidJS, and a rewrite of the team's voice-activity-detection package for cleaner browser audio.
Two years of building for its own sake — Linux tools, editor plugins, GrapesJS extensions, and a Canva-for-newspapers SaaS. Some of it stuck.
React Native and Flutter apps, Next.js web work — including a news platform that paid its writers out of ad revenue.
Hand-built client sites, no page builders. A few are still online and still maintained by me, eight years on.
